Just witnessed this eight year old kid sitting next to me at the airport aggressively solve a Rubik’s cube in like a minute while sippin some chocolate milk
You cannot buy electronics with food stamps. You cannot buy cigarettes with food stamps. You cannot buy pet food with food stamps. You cannot withdraw money with an EBT card (food stamps).
Do you know what else you can’t buy with food stamps? Shampoo, soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, tinfoil, plastic sandwich bags, toothpaste, cleaning products, tampons, pads, over the counter medications (such as Tylenol, Ibuprofen, etc.), and anything else you can think of that you cannot physically ingest for nutritional purposes.
Do you know what you can buy with food stamps? Food.
Do you know what it’s like to scrounge for change to buy non-edible necessities, use a credit card and EBT card (food stamps) during the same transaction, and then have the person in line behind you judge you for buying the ingredients to make a birthday cake?
People who disseminate false information about food stamps have never had to use food stamps.

Q:So I was walking home in the cold, watching my breath in the air and all that fun stuff, when I thought: "I wonder if someone farted in the cold, if we'd be able to see it, like when we see our breath." I mean I know it's in part the heat of the breath, but also the moisture so I wasn't sure... Anyways, then I said to myself: " you know who would have the answer to this question? Stephanie, that's who." So I relay this deep philosophical question to you, my friend.
Yessss more fart trivia @u@
When we see our breath, it’s partially due to the heat, yes, but only because warmer air can hold more moisture! So when we breathe out, the moisture in our breath condenses into that little vapor cloud because the outside air can’t hold as much moisture.
Thankfully (or sadly, depending on how you look at it,) our intestines are designed to absorb moisture, so farts aren’t moist enough to be visible in cold air. If you ripped a fart wet enough to be visible, you’d prooobably have diarrhea and would be in danger of letting something besides gas out your butthole.
unsurprisingly enough, this was even put to the test by someone on reddit!
